#sartorial

At Sartor, we don’t just sell fabric, we sew with it too. After all, that’s how it all started; one of our co-founders couldn’t get the material she needed for a project, so she imported it herself. (See our story.) So, when it comes to making a pattern, sewing a corset, and all sorts of sewing tricks, she really knows her stuff. And she’s not alone – now there’s a whole gang of us. We don’t just patch together these tutorials; we make it a point of pride that all of them, especially those written for beginning sewers, go into every detail. And before posting, we always test them out on real, live beginners ;-) You’ll find some great tutorials here, but there are also quick sewing tips and our own notes. Enjoy.
