This yellow linen is a versatile material for clothing and home decor. This classic, medium linen is great for kerchiefs, skirts, trousers, and summer jackets, and performs well in curtains and pillowcases too. It lends itself to modern garments, and really comes into its own in period costumes (dresses, tunics, leggings). It is sturdy and resilient, breathes well, and is easy to care for. Our linens are softened, making them smooth and pleasant to the touch, without any of the itchy roughness typical for other linen fabrics.
Linen will shrink, so it’s a good idea to wash it before cutting. To prevent fading, dyed linens should not be dried in direct sunlight.
Wash dyed linens at 40°C; white and natural linens can be laundered at 60°C. Iron on the highest setting; may also be steamed. If machine drying, use a short, gentle cycle.
