Silk serge (or twill) is a light fabric woven using the twill weave, which is instantly recognizable by its diagonal pattern. Serge drapes well but is sturdy and resistant. It is a favorite lining for blazers, jackets, and wool garments. And in addition to its good looks, it is comfortable and breathes well.
Of course, you can use this blue serge on its own for light blouses or dresses. And it is a popular choice for elegant silk scarves.
